Editorial Final Draft

Recently the F.B.I’s most wanted man was killed. He was labeled deceased under the list. The 25 Million was never granted. This is because a US Navy seal eliminated him. While most of the world celebrated, In the middle of this celebration however. There was anger in people’s eyes. Mostly terrorists or al qaeda followers. Among these people the country of Pakistan was unhappy. They were not unhappy because Osama was killed. They were unhappy because of the way the operation was executed. For many years Pakistan has been allies with US in the fight against terror. Recently they were not informed that the US had eyes on Osama Bin Laden.  The US has doubts about Pakistan’s trust .This is because Osama was found less than 30 miles away from a notorious military base. I agree with the US in there action of not telling Pakistan. The operation was so sensitive that no one could be trusted. This could have been our only opportunity to eliminate or capture him. Also based on Pakistan’s actions it is hard to tell if Pakistan can be trusted. Even though I agree with the secretive way the operation was handled. I also think that the US and Pakistan alike should be careful with the statements that they say. If both countries are not careful a war may be started. Another war is the last thing we need with our economy. I also believe that we should be very selective regarding who we trust. When it comes to terrorists it is very hard to trust Middle East countries.  So even though they are unhappy they should fully understand the circumstances. The only thing that I disagree with is the way Osama was killed. I feel like Osama could have been captured. Other than that al qaeda does not have a leader so this may cause confusion with in them. This overall operation is going to change the way that treaties with other countries are made. We will be a lot more selective in who we trust. Operations like these will continue to occur.
